I don’t even know how to write this here, because most of you never knew her. But she was such an important and large part of grove.eco that this belongs here.
A month ago, Claudia died. For almost two years she fought the cancer, but it was so relentless and hard on her. Despite everything, right up to her last conscious moment she was such a warm and loving person.
During the dying, which took so much longer still, we also talked about grove. She would have loved so much to see the first people using it and to hear their reactions. This year, even though almost everything was finished, we had no strength for it. I promised her I would finish it and publish it.
For most of this year she was in hospital. There she kept working on the plant database on a tablet – through the chemotherapy and while recovering from operations. Everything she entered so far you can already see under the Plants menu item.
As soon as I’ve found new strength I’ll work through the remaining open points and publish grove.eco for the 2023 growing season.
