Fair enough – this probably isn’t the most exciting part of grove. But it’s part of the package, and sometimes a little admin is just unavoidable.
Changing your password
When you change your password, all other devices are automatically signed out – only your current one stays logged in. That means you’ll need to sign in again with the new password on your phone, tablet or laptop. A small security measure to keep you and your data safe.
Changing your email address
If you enter a new email address here, we’ll send you a confirmation email to that new address. Only once you’ve clicked the confirmation link in that email can we send you further messages.
Important: Without this confirmation, we’re not allowed to send you any messages to the new address – not even invoices or reminders.
Confirming your email address
This section only appears if your current email address has not yet been confirmed – meaning you haven’t clicked the confirmation link in an earlier email.
In that case, we’re only allowed to send you one single email: a new confirmation email. Everything else is legally off-limits for us.
Automatic membership renewal
At the start we asked whether you’d like automatic annual renewal or whether you’d prefer a one-off payment. You can change this decision here at any time.
Even on the last day before renewal, you can still deactivate automatic renewal.
To make sure this doesn’t slip by you, we’ll send you a reminder email a week before an upcoming renewal. We want to be paid fairly – not because of a missed deadline.
Invoices
We normally send your invoices by email – but only if your email address was already confirmed at that time.
If you need an invoice again: no problem – you can download it here.
If some invoices don’t include your name and address, there’s a reason: at the start we ask whether you’d like a personalised invoice. In Germany this is only required for amounts over €250.
Since we want to collect as little data as necessary, the choice is entirely yours.
