Interface

Here you can change the language, the temperature unit (°C or °F) and the length unit (metric or imperial). If you don’t change anything, grove automatically uses the default values from your browser or operating system.

Changing your password

When you change your password, all other devices are automatically signed out, only your current one stays logged in. You’ll need to sign in again with the new password on your phone, tablet or laptop.

Changing your email address

If you enter a new email address here, we’ll send you a confirmation email to that new address. Only once you’ve clicked the confirmation link in that email can we send you further messages.

Without this confirmation, we’re not allowed to send you any messages to the new address, not even invoices or reminders.

Confirming your email address

This section only appears if your current email address has not yet been confirmed, meaning you haven’t clicked the confirmation link in an earlier email.

In that case, we’re only allowed to send you one single email: a new confirmation email. Everything else is legally off-limits for us.

Automatic membership renewal

This section only applies to purchases made via the website. If you purchased via the iOS or Android app, your membership runs as a subscription through Apple or Google. You manage changes directly in your App Store or Google Play account.

When you registered via the website, we asked whether you’d like automatic annual renewal or a one-off payment.

You can cancel an active subscription here at any time, even on the last day before renewal. After a one-off payment, you can renew your membership once it expires and also choose to activate automatic renewal at that point.

To make sure an upcoming renewal doesn’t slip by, we’ll send you a reminder email a week beforehand. We want to be paid fairly, not because of a missed deadline.

Invoices

We normally send your invoices by email, but only if your email address was already confirmed at that time.

If you need an invoice again, you can download it here.

If some invoices don’t include your name and address, there’s a reason: at the start we ask whether you’d like a personalised invoice. In Germany this is only required for amounts over €250. Since we want to collect as little data as necessary, the choice is yours.

The invoices here only apply to purchases made via the website. If you purchased via the iOS or Android app, the invoice is issued by Apple or Google.
